Douglas Tank Sales has a proven track record in the dismantling and demolition of a wide variety of tanks. The following describes specific projects in which Douglas Tank Sales safely and professionally dismantled and disposed of tanks following the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) rules and regulations.

Douglas Tank Sales safely removed four large LPG type tanks from the Zynolyte paint plant in Carson, Ca. The largest tank removed was a 30,000 gallon vertical tank utilizing a 200 ton hydraulic crane and a 200 ton conventional crane which were provided by Anglemyer Crane.

Douglas Tank Sales provided all of the labor and equipment at the Hill Brothers Chemical plant in Industry, Ca. to remove a 75,000 gallon steel riveted water tank that was originally built in the early 1900's for the railroads. This tank was elevated 30' high on steel beams and 56' high overall. The tank was lifted off of the stands with a 200 ton hydraulic crane, set on the ground and was cut up on site.

Douglas Tank Sales removed and dismantled all of the existing 20,000 gallon storage tanks and all of the mixing tanks located at the PMI asphalt facility in Irwindale, Ca. All of the storage and mix tanks were transported to their new facility in Los Angeles where they were reassembled and put back into service.
